I’ve been using my Shun set for about 3 weeks and could not be happier. These knives are so sharp out of the box that I believe I could shave with them. The problem is I look for any excuse to use them, buy some apples for apple pie (eat apple pie)LOL. The block with the Shun logo is a piece if art and when the knives come out they are truly a conversation piece function and beauty. The only thing I found lacking in this set is a 6-inch utility knife which I just ordered.
